LowT – Testosterone Therapy Injury Claims

Low testosterone (LowT) and Testosterone Therapy medications are controlled substances prescribed for the treatment of adult males who have low testosterone. Signs of LowT, or hypogonadism, as the medical condition is known, are usually subtle and can easily be confused with those of other medical conditions. In addition, many men have used testosterone therapy in an effort to reduce signs of aging.

Unfortunately, the use of LowT therapy has been linked with serious complications and injuries among people who have taken it. Adverse reactions and side effects such as blood clotting, DVT (deep vein thrombosis), heart attacks, strokes and even deaths have been reported as a result of using LowT prescription drug therapy such as AndroDerm, Androgel, Axiron, Delatestryl, Bio-T Gel, Fortesta, Testopel, Depo-Testosterone, Testim and Striant. These have either been administered in patches, injections, pellets or gel forms. That has formed the basis for all the potential claims plaguing LowT prescriptions today. They are being handled by defective drug attorneys.

In January 2014, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) announced that it was in the process of investigating heart attacks, stroke and deaths in men who had taken FDA approved LowT products. The FDA issued that Safety Announcement after two studies suggested that an increase in the risks of cardiovascular incidents was apparent in groups of men under a prescription of testosterone therapy.

Our goal is to provide information about potentially defective and unsafe drugs. If you are considering taking a testosterone therapy product, do your research and consult with a physician about the risks.

LowT injury lawsuits have already been brought against the manufacturers of these products. If you believe you suffered a heart attack or stroke after taking LowT or if a loved one has suffered a heart-related event or death following testosterone therapy, you may have a testosterone therapy injury claim and should consult with an experienced defective drug lawyer.  The attorneys in this directory will evaluate your claim at no charge and will represent you on a contingent fee basis if you have a valid claim.  Please search our directory for legal help as you seek justice.
